My S1 Lotus Exige
Discussion
I've been a member of the forums for a while now (actually since 2003 so ages) and posted occasionally but until now hadn't posted anything about my cars or my car history.
I've had various everyday boring cars which I will ignore but interesting cars I've had include Clio cup, Westfield, elise, S2 exige, Clio V6 and I now own a S1 exige as a garage queen / weekend toy, a 996.2 C2 for my daily commute (these are bargains now and I'll post a separate thread) and a company Merc for the family. Anyway more about the S1 exige.
I've owned the car since early 2008. Looking through the history I have an invoice from Bell & Colvill who carried out the '190' upgrade in 2004. On this invoice they have printed the below comment :-
"Behind rear cabin panel on the bulkhead is lots of writing and signatures wishing happy motoring to the last exige built"
I've been meaning to take the interior out and take some photo's but just haven't found the time. Anyway a couple of days ago I got the car serviced at Guglielmi (excellent service again btw) and asked if they would also remove the interior and take pictures of the bulkhead.
The good news is that there are loads of signatures. See below for some of the many pictures I have and a couple of the car.

Many of the signatures are readable so I hope to shortly be able to get into contact with one of them.
Thanks for reading,
Simon
