Evo - Guess the car (test the Mrs)

Just flicked (swiping?) through the Evo iPad latest issue where they have the group test of the Exige S vs GT3 4.0 vs M3 GTS vs GTR vs C63 AMG Black. Got to the bit where you can hear each exhaust sound and decided to see if my Mrs could guess which car was which. Gave her a list of the cars and then randomly played each clip and asked for her guess.

She get every damn one spot on!

So... Is your Mrs a Petrolhead?

I appreciate this kind of excludes people who don't have access to the exhaust notes, but still...

Excellent test. I will replicate this later, but fear the results may not be as good...

I was a little worried that this would be the case too!

When I questioned why she guessed the Porsche, she said "well they have a distinctive sound don't they!"

However, if she'd added "Metzger engines are easily identifiable" then I'd have been worried/seriously impressed!

I wouldn't say my Wife is a petrolhead, but she knows her cars and hates anything 'girly' (Alfa Mito, for example!)
