Loads of Porkers
Discussion
There are So many of them out here.
I live in the poor part of a very wealthy area, and it seems the recession has had no effect on the sale of them.
Took my car out yesterday for a blat, and i must have seen ten or more...and i don't mean low end ones either !!
Twice however, cars got in my way by not being able to navigate a roundabout staying in lane.
These people clearly have the funds to fund a "sports car" but cannot drive it. And whilst able to boot it up a carriageway past tintops, they really do not know how to handle such a tool.
My Revs up (to drown out there whining rubber bands) they check the rear view, and confused they nearly both lost control.
I think something loud and unrecogniseable frightens them and they drive in the belief that nothing gets near a porker.
Audi TT owners are worse, golf drivers are laughable....the saxo and corsa kids do show respect tho, and want to see the car as it passes.
Good moaning chaps
Enjoy the sun

Yeah Porsche drivers... idiots the lot of them! No way any of them can drive capably or even recognise a TVR.
So, what shall it be sir, a glass of traditional lemonade or straight to the bitter?
Look, if you've lost your curling tongs you won't find them on the Wedge forum. So, what shall it be sir, a glass of traditional lemonade or straight to the bitter?

Come on guys, play nice.......
I had the genuine privilage to have a 997 Carrera 2S for a few days last year.
Drove both at Silverstone, and had a *spirited* drive over the North Yorkshire moors

I would dearly love to own a 911 some day - the build quality and overall package is incredible. A supercar you could genuinely use everyday.
Now - of course, these cars get purchased as status symbols. But that's fine, as it means in ten years time, people like us stand a chance of buying one!
Porsches and TVR's will always be like chalk and cheese: One of them's impeccably built and engineered, the other's all about sheer thrills and spills.
The answer then is obvious, own both.
Now, ladies, please put down the handbags. Thank you.
