PC Screen Error When Playing Games

Hey guys,

I have been getting this when playing BF3 and just put it down to the terrible web browser interface that game has (why EA WHY!!!!)

When I launch a game it is as if the centre of the screen is around 6" off so I can only see half of the game. The mouse will then only cover the half where the game is. Normally I just adjust the refresh rate hit ok and when it says "are you happy with this setting" I say no and then it refreshes to cover the whole screen.

This is fine for games like BF3 where they give the screen settings in game, but I have some games that do not and so are now unplayable.
I have rolled back my drivers to the last version (running Nvidia card) but I am still getting the problem.

Is there a setting in the nvidia control panel I need to change?

Hmm, are you running the native resolution of your monitor?

Monitor timing issue maybe?

Is it running in windowed mode? Should be able to change it to full screen in the options menus.
