Need some new boots and also have some new wheels to fit.
This has been asked many times, but the search function is not really working.
Can anyone recommend a tyre fitting place please? I've not had good experiences so far - at one place the balance was badly done so I had to redo it, at another they damaged one of my wheels.
I need careful fitters, who are able to balance and know what to do when they are greeted with a car that is only a couple of inches above the ground.
Thanks

Speedlines for the Noble I take it
I have mine done at Elite tyres http://www.elitewheels.co.uk/
They've done lots of sets of (expensive) wheels for me for several cars and have always been careful.

Tyre Barn in Newbury are fantastic, probably the cheapest place you'll find - Even if you look at Camskill they are usually only a tad more but include fitting etc.
Martin is the guy who runs it and is very sympathetic to wheels and completely understands the need to treat them carefully.

Bracknell tyre and battery.
Can be good, but also had some poor feedback and a personal bad experience once. All ok if you stand and watch though...
Used to use BT&B but since it was taken over it's not the same, if you do use them ask for Tim to do the job, he's the manager there now I think. Changed to Martins tyres and they are brilliant and cheap although often cannot get some of the larger sports tyres but will fit them cheaply if you source.
Having moved I'm now using the Tyre Barn in Newbury, they've only done tintop stuff for me so far but seem very careful and the guys are happy to talk cars all day

I had my AC refreshed in the Mini last week at a small garage behind the petrol station in Headley and the guy there fits tyres. I think he said £6.50 per wheel (probably + VAT) fitted & balanced. I might give him a go when I replace the Mini tyres.
I used to use Headley tyres when I worked in Burghclere, couldn't recommend them enough. Great service and very competitive prices.BerksJack said:

Just to add Tyrebarn fitted 4 new tyres to the 599 this morning, significantly cheaper than anybody else inc the online boys and treated the car with kid gloves. They've a new tyre removal/ fitting machine which dispenses with the need for a tyre iron to bring the bead over the rim and takes the tyre from the rear face ensuring not a mark on the front face (or rear for that matter)Having moved I'm now using the Tyre Barn in Newbury, they've only done tintop stuff for me so far but seem very careful and the guys are happy to talk cars all day

As that's interesting, I've got some wheels I need to swap on my car that have just been refurbed. I was worried about them getting beaten up when changing over.I went to Martin's Tyres in Jan.. really wasn't that impressed, they just didn't seem to care that much.
Next time i think i'll pay a bit more and go elsewhere.. the cost saving was completely nullified anyway due to the KDS i then had done as i was so unimpressed with their handy work.
