Calling all Laguna III owners!!

Looking to change the Focus early next year to something a bit bigger and hopefully a lot more comfy and my eye keeps getting drawn to the new shape Laguna estate.
It would have to be the petrol version as my milage does not justify the diesel plus the petrols seem to be great VFM at the moment (yes, I do know that they are now discontinued which is depressing prices further I imagine!)
Looking for real world ownership tales regarding comfort,costs and reliability plus any 'issues' that may influence my decision.
Am I right in thinking that the new Laguna is leagues ahead of the old model in terms of refinement,relibility, etc?
Previously looked at a C5 but the petrol model ain't much cop apparentely but on paper the laguna ticks quite a few boxes.
I know I'd get more replies in GG but I don't want to wade through pages of Renault bashing to get to the info I need.
