Been checking out all the Gumball coverage and wanted to go but seen how much it is and thought nevermind but stumbled across this censored
anyone know of any others that compare?

ETA

Sorry but the link supplied depicts a pit babes section that falls foul of our T&C's.

Also we are not convinced that you are not directly involved with the website.

Pre-arranged routes and well advertised start/finish times and locations would be a red rag to the speed cops.

The cost on the site is £3k for 1 car with 1 "VIP pass", £6k for 1+2, £8k for 1+3 and £10k for 1+4.

Plenty of other tours, why did you just "happen" to find this one, join PH yesterday & feel the need to promote it?

yeah, I seen and noticed all that. What I asked is if anyone is aware of any OTHER tours.

I notice your quick to jump on someone's back here, but unfortunately not as quick to help them, Al.

Nothing against you, but people have joined PH in the past having "found" a link to an event/app/car for sale..
Had you not provided a link in your first post & just asked for advice about alternatives to the gumball, then there would have been less scratchchin

Fair enough but you might want to consider approaching similar matters that may arise in future with a shred of tact.

You ever been on Gumball or anything like it? I don't mean your run of the mill tour with museum visits, I mean a party tours?

Just to let you know that The Cannonball Run Europe doesn't have the huge entry fees that the Gumball has. When you consider the Cannonball Run Europe ONLY use 5 star hotels, have amazing dinner and party venues. They also hire EXCLUSIVELY a current formula 1 circuit for the day (open pit lane). The price doesn't reflect what you get for your money infact they often are asked how come the entry fee is so small! When you consider the the Gumball is around £25,000 and they dont hire an F1 track you get a real bargain on The Cannonball Run Europe! censored

Best not turn your post into and advert.

Check out Rico Rally or Barcelona Bangers, both much more accessible, especially the later, that is hundreds, not even thousands!

lordbenny fiercly defending the price of cannonball i can only assume you have a commercial interest in the rally. i am taking part in the rico rally for the first time and if it means we only stay at 3-4 star hotels with secure parking and save at least £3000 then i am ok with that.the most important part is good roads, plenty of driving and having a laugh with similar minded guys

My Mrs organises it! I back it because its the best rally of its type (5 star, amazing roads, F1 circuit, top clubs and dinner venues). Now in its 10th year with a huge proportion of repeat customers!

I do wonder why (team gilmurray) try to put down other events?
It is also strange that their only posts on PH are about the xxx rally.

Commercial interest??

For 5 days staving at 3/4 star hotels + a ferry £800 does not seem such a bargain.

For 5 days staying at 5 start hotels + ferry, with a "famous" exclusive track day £5k seems reasonable.

Don't forget some people shop at Tesco, others Waitrose, and some even go to Harrods.

But they all walk out the door with a 400g tin of Heinz beans, some just have a smugger look in their eye and a lighter wallet wink.
