I'm travelling to the US on 3rd June for a couple of weeks. The Esta applications we made in 2010 are due to expire on 26th June. Anyone know if they are ok to travel on? I think passports need a minimum of 6 months on them for travel to the US, which makes me wonder about the Esta's.

I thought they were only valid for 12 months. To be certain you are ok I would just reapply for them, they are only $14

They're valid for 2 years - as they expire after you come I can't imagine you'd have any issues....

I applied a while ago when mine was still valid and it told me, maybe try that?

As the above poster states, you can just go through the application process, and if you are still valid, it will tell you so.
Otherwise you can apply again

Did you do it through the correct website? There used to be several scam websites that popped up on a google search.

My daughter is planning on flying into NY and then heading down to Boston, the problem is she won't know the address of where she will be staying until just before departure, how should one deal with this situation when completing the online ESTA as its requires a US based address of where you are staying

Cheers

I would just put an address of a hotel that you "could" be staying at.

And make sure she heads 'up' to Boston...

Make up an address, you can change it whenever you want so before she goes isnt a problem

The ESTA does not require a US address (not a compulsory field on the application).
The API submitted to your airline requires a US address for your first nites stay and it is compulsory. You can do this at check in, so not an issue not knowing until right before you travel.
