Stiff gear change

I put in the new clutch but now the gear change is tight back and forth across the box is ok any idears.

Changed gearbox oil lately? Ppl have said this fixed the issue...

I checked the oil in the g/box it is full. I have to say the a lot of oil came out when the i took the prop-shaft down but it would not take any more oil when I took the plug out.
The gear change was ok before I changes the clutch. I have to say it was an axx to put back together. The ball is in the cup the cross nut and bolt on the top of the box is not nipping the leaver. The leaver movement across in neutral ok but not back and forth very well.
