Bit of a long shot but by bro lives in Horsforth in Leeds and the rest of the family live miles away. He's (somehow) managed to roll his car down his fairly steep drive and into his garage door (car wouldn't start and still won't) and he can't get it to start now so is therefore wedged in his garage door!

It's quite a steep driveway.

If anyone has a powerful 4x4, 30 mins free, and thinks they could help pull his Focus out of his garage then beer tokens are on him.

Doesn't harm to ask I guess.

Cheers guys.

I'm at work until 6 and only have a 1.8 C4 Picasso but it does have quite a large towing capacity so I don't think it'll have any trouble with pulling a Focus. Your brother will have to have a tow rope too, since I don't have one. Let me know if you still need my help after work.

Edit: Just depends how stuck it is. Obviously I don't want to ruin my clutch if it's well and truly bedded in.

Hi mate, I think my Dad is going to make the journey with his X5 4.0D and if that can't get it out then he'll need a tractor. Thanks for the offer though mate, much appreciated beer

No worries, think your Dad's beast will be a lot more suited for it smile

If your Dad can't make it for any reason I have a 4 motion Tiguan and would be happy to help this evening, or might be able to get my mate across with his hilux if it's properly stuck.

Don't have a rope myself though so would need one.
