hi guys,
i've recently had some great tips on this forum with a holiday i'm planning for this year & wondered if any seasoned euro-campers could help....

we're looking at including a campsite break in a euro-tour this summer in montpellier. arriving the 3rd of august until the 6th.

ideally we'd like something pre-erected, either a tent of a small chalet type thing.

2 adults only

it's in the middle of a driving tour so somewhere to relax really, bit of a pool or close to a beach. we're not seasoned campers but we thought it'd be a bit of a laugh smile

i'm struggling to find any camping search engine sort of thing-i expected there to be a camping version of booking.com or similar but maybe i'm asking too much?!

any tips or recommendations?

canvas holidays, keycamp etc are the usual suspects. You may struggle to find anyone who will book you a pitch for less than a week in peak high season, however.

scratchchin I was beginning to wonder this actually. May not be a problem depending on price I guess however we can realisticly stay in a hotel with a pool in Montpellier for circa €350 for the same amount of time....

Yelloh Village have a good choice of camp sites, however it's usually cheaper to book via the campsite direct rather than through Yelloh.
