Heading into town this morning a Biker had a fatal crash. Seems to happen all to often! Very sad indeed
He hit a truck. I was about 20 cars behind. Massive impact from VERY high filtering speed. When the Police eventually reopened the road, the bikes front mudguard was about 150m down the road....
Sobering stuff.
The amount of people on mobiles in the fast lane, trying to send text messages is unbelievable. They always seem genuinely surprised when they get a knock on the window. F.uckwits.

Very sad to see, and sobering.
Driving past and seeing the poor chap still on the road, covered over, with the other driver in tears further down the road put things into perspective.
However, it was very noticeable how fast everyone got going again after being held up in the first crash just up the road the it wasn't surprising that something was going to happen.
It just seems that people just forget the basic rules at that time of the morning!
My thoughts are with his poor family.
RIP.
