RMA Trackday Prices

What do people think about RMA Trackdays, and also whats the thoughts on their prices? Im looking at doing their big three day event later in the year.

They can be excellent.

Some great machines and loads of track time with fewer rules.

There can be some 'driving gods' who think that because they can pay it imparts some special ability to them. Majority though were very nice chaps.

To be fair though, I don't think we have done an RMA day for a couple of years. Not by design but because the car hasn't been well.

Plenty of normal guys there, but with money!

Haha, no. I'm just fairly new to this side of things and have done a gold track day and an MSV day. People have said RMA are a good one, but by looking at their website and prices they seem very upmarket.

It does make me feel a little like the worse in the paddock at times. Previous time at Silverstone I was just texting my "co-workers" that there was a 599 GTO in the paddock and you don't see many of those, when another rocked up. I shared a garage with a fire breathing track prepped Daytona last time (but we all still went home early because of the rain)

I thoroughly enjoyed the Goldtrack day but wanting too look elsewhere so the dates will work for me.

Never been on one so can't comment BUT, I did attend an 'evening' trackday with another TDO
being held directly after an RMA 'day' trackday; and RMA did not allow us to take our cars anywhere near the paddock until 30 minutes after their day had finished and all the RMA people had cleared the pit garages. This made car preparation for the short evening event very rushed.

Pricing: I think they are too expensive but talking to one of their entrants whilst I was hanging around, it was alleged that if you turn up on the day, they are rarely full and will take 'offers'.

ive been a big fan of cheap trackdays with decent TDOs but i have to say that if you add up the DECENT reasonably traffic free lapping you can do with the more expensive TDOs does seem to make more sense once you are looking for consistent tracktime .......unless it rains
