Hello Cerbera owners,

Would one of you fine chaps be able to give me the dimensions of a Cerbera air filter please. I plan to fit an air filter in the same position on my Chim with a fabricated cover and figure that the flat panel filter from a Cerbera would be the ideal place to start. There may be another type that would fit but it must be able to flow enough air for a 400-450 bhp normally aspirated v8 so any suggestions will be gratefully received.

Thanks all

Andy

Sorry Mate,

thought that you would be inundated by figures. Have just had a look and the filter supplied by TVR Power is 530 x 145 x 20mm.

I previously had a washable high-flo filter from Joo which 'disappeared' at the last service - I would ask him about availability first.

Best of thumbup with that BHP figure wink

Thanks Paul, looks like that area is different on a Chim, couldn't fit that size filter in. I am looking for a filter approx 400x200mm so I guess I will have to speak to some filter manufacturers.

How wierd is that? The best match is ITG Air Filter for LAND ROVER Range Rover V8 Petrol (AJV8 4.4 N/A 4.2 S/C)!! Considering the rover v8s in our Chim/griff were originally Range Rover engines it is strangely satisfying that i will be using an air filter taken from a later model.

How did this go, I've always used itg filters in my Range Roversand even put one in a smart roadster Brabus! Would love an itg in my cerbera as they are pretty much fit and forget (just clean at every service) would be great to know how you got on.
