156 JTDM 2005 CD Changer
Discussion
I have recently acquired a 150BHP 156JTDM...it has the usual multi-function steering wheel and the standard Alfa single CD player in the dash.
I have just discovered that there is a compartment in the LH corner of the boot that has the initials CD...and there is a plug/lead in there;

My question is...what multi-changer will fit directly in there, ie does it have to be the Alfa OEM one?

Looks very much the same as the cable that comes in many Fiats of the same era - Does (did) the car have a Clarion head unit?
If so, a Clarion cd changer is the only one that will work
If you want to try, I have a 6-CD and 12-CD changer for sale (I work for Motormech in Birmingham, an Italian car specialist, we major on the Fiat Coupe, of which I have a couple in for breaking, hence the spare CD changers)

Thanks for that Nigel. I understand that my OEM single CD head unit is Blaupunkt ( as others have mentioned) so I shall probably try and find one of those. There are a couple on Ebay just now, but to be honest it is not at the top of the list of 'jobs to do' on my newly acquired Alfa... just something that I would like to have, mainly so I don't have to have CDs in the car !
