Unfortunatly the search facility is still down....
Having just purchased a 2009 R500, can anyone point me in the right direction for a company that can set up a car for the track and possibly re-map the car to remove the SVA emmisions flat spot as close to the Yorkshire area as possible, many thanks.

Hope you enjoy the caterham. Can't help with any suggestions other than have you tried searching blatchat tech section and or speaking with the local lotus seven club members for any recomendations.

Edited to add willow are only a few miles from me, might give them a try myself..

Tranzpower radical in chesterfield set mine up last time, very cheap too. Trevor used to run a few caterham r500 race cars and seemed to know his onions

My 08 R500 IRS is in at Track V Road at present for full service, nut and bolt check, geo, etc. Seem like a really good company with many recommending them for 7s, Lotus and TVR. Speak with Ian as he runs a caterham himself. I travelled over from Saddleworth.

Try the above for rolling road as I understand they are the only ones that can unlock the ECU (MBE). There's only been 1 programme for the R500 so no off the shelf upgrades via caterham. Chip Wizards in Milnrow just set my throttle bodies up and checked the car over, they found the potentiometer needs a swap which track v road are sorting this week.

I believe Northampton Motorsport can also access the MBE ECU's and are well regarded.
