Daily Mail (GB): Jaguar purrs into top spot
2012-05-31 10:53:27.95 GMT

May 31 (Daily Mail) -- JAGUAR customers are more satisfied than any other car owners, a major survey has revealed.
The firm roared ahead of Japan's luxury car-maker Lexus - which has held the top spot in the survey for 11 years.
It crowns a week of good news for the British manufacturer as booming Jaguar Land Rover this week announced record profits of Pounds 1.5billion.
However Vauxhall, this month celebrating the survival of its Ellesmere Port factory in Cheshire, scored badly, coming second last.
Volkswagen-owned Skoda came third in the survey by What Car? magazine and customer satisfaction experts JD Power. The worst performing manufacturer was budget brand Chevrolet.
The results are based on 18,000 interviews of owners which rated vehicle appeal, including performance, design, comfort, features, quality, reliability, fuel consumption, insurance, repairs, and dealer service.

Quite agree, Jaguars are fantastic, but I would still recommend a good waxoyling.

I make no secret of always having had a soft spot for Jaguar. I honestly believe however that currently Jaguar / Land Rover are making the best cars in their respective marketplaces - even the now ageing XK/XKR is still one of the best in class. Cannot wait for the F type to arrive!

I like the XF - Took another look at one at Goodwood on Friday. Would be on my notional 'consider' list.

Shame they all seem to be autos though.

The modern sporty ones don't really do it for me though, not sure why.

I've only had one (an S-Type briefly) and it was the most horrible car I've 'owned' (was actually a company car and only 'mine' for a month before I opted for the allowance instead smile ).

Not me sadly, 59 plate XF owned since new has been the most problematic car we've ever owned.
