First one is pre-punk so Dr Feelgood, Ducks Deluxe, Kilburn and the High Roads and Eddie and the Hotrods etc

Also 6 music are doing a big Punk celebration next month with Punk singers doing DJ slots playing their own collections and telling yarns from the time. First off is John Lydon.

He's just started the show playing 'Welcome to my World' by Jim Reeves, and after that said 'Eello, your listening to Mr Rotten' then cracked on with Abba.

Enjoyed the first part on BBC4 last night, good to see Feelgood and the Damned footage.

Hoped Third World War may have got a mention though, as they were pretty much London pre-Punk in 1972, but it seems they've been wiped from history really.

I was watching the Friday night episode in a hotel with Pete Shelley, Steve Diggle and Chris Remington of Buzzcocks, and we all thought it was a great program - I think :-D
