Hi Guys

I am away on holiday at the moment, and I am looking to get a new front spring for my newly acquired 1998 XJR, which is back in the UK.

To make sure I get the right one, do all X308 XJRs have CATS, and any recommendations of where to get a spring from would be most appreciated.

Many thanks

Yes, it was standard on the X308's but optional on the X300's.

i believe these guys have just sourced lowered and stiffer spring sets for the XJr V8, worth a try!

Thanks. I ordered a pair of standard Jag sports springs - more expensive than the 4 lowering springs. Never mind smile

I can't imagine why you'd want stiffer springs on an X308 xjr - they don't wallow at all. It'll just end up with German ride quality and monumental tramlining.

Although saying that I have been in touch with the Powerhouse guys bout their lower supercharger pulley upgrade, and I have been very impressed with their helpfulness.

Cats as in adaptive damping ? I thought it was an option. Open bonnet, check tops of shocks, if it has wires on them then it has adaptive damping.
