How was your Silverstone experience?

I noted on another thread that Lumpystew was also at Silverstone this week, finding out how lateral g forces can promote I'll feelings, and how easy it is to induce these in the Boxster around the Porsche track. But what a car and how easy is it to place it exactly on the track. What a shame that the track is so short; however, it does exactly what it says on the tin and gives you a really good insight into what any car is capable of when pressing on at medium speeds. Undulations, blind corners and hairpins are all there.

Overall, a very pleasant way to spend a sunny afternoon.

I agree they're great fun! It would be utterly amazing if you had a go on Silverstone GP though rather than the tight PEC track although to be fair it's pretty sensible not to use the GP track on Porsche's part!Want to spin? The 'ice hill' can help you there.

Yes it's a track which is great for showing some of the capabilities of the car. I especially liked the ability to easily show the difference between PSM being on and off. Also runing Caymans, 911 2s and 4s through the kick plate was great, it was really good to jump from one car to another to understand the effect of mid-engine v rear engine.
