Hey guys, any idea what car the bonnet struts on the wedge came from? Mine are failing to keep the bonnet upright now making working on the wedge annoying. (till i took my bonnet off completely)

Hi Mate..The ones on my 280 were ford capri tailgate struts..I managed to get a second hand set for the bonnet and a set for the boot from the ford garage that i use, They are definitely what they used for mine as they were the same in comparison..If you cant get any then there is this site, They are not too bad in price..Ziga

There's a place near me claims they can 'refill' weak structs with a special pressure machine.

Has anyone tried this kind of fix ?? What were the results ??
