I was thinking the other day which of these, the two major new british sports car launches of the past couple of years has been the most successful since launch. I concluded that (surprisingly?) perhaps the EVORA has done better, having walked off with several COTY titles in the motoring press, whereas the Mac seems to have been scuppered at every turn by its arch rival the 458 Italia. Having seen both up close, I think that the EVORA may even be the prettier car, although the Mac, in black, looks wonderful..

What do Ph'ers think. They aint exactly direct rivals but whats done best and which do you prefer?

I saw my first McLaren MP4-12C the other week. I have yet to see an Evora. frown

The Evora is growing on me, but I think I would also opt for the McLaren if it were between that and the Ferrari.

I like them both.

using magazine awards is probably the wrong metric.

Evora has had more positive reviews/tests/etc than just about any car on the planet (amazing how cheap jurno's are!) but the facts of the matter are they have just not sold.

the only real comparison you can make is which one meets it's sales targets.
