As it should/could throw up some interesting cars amongst the usual suspects (eg Red Countach), just one pic each please, ideally in the actual colour of the one you saw that made the impression.

Minimum words i.e. let the picture 'tell the story/do the talking'.

Here's mine >

1981 Ford Fiesta Supersport by GoldScotland71, on Flickr

Not that exciting but my mum had one when I was about 5 and it was the first car that I totally loved. I was soo gutted when she sold it.

A bit different, I know. But for as long as I can remember I had a small scale model of a first gen Viper in blue, and I absolutely adored it. Rarely a day went by that I didn't play with it. I think this is how it all started. smile

Edit: I'm only 23 to clarify smile

I think it started when I noticed the speedometer went all the way round to 120 mph. I thought my dad had the fastest car in the world.

The viper seems popular and it's mine too , being 18 I'm a kid of the granturismo generation and I fantasised for hours about this specific viper wink

Sat in one at the 1972 Earl's Court motor show at the age of 6 when my dad was looking at getting a GS.

Turned me onto cars for life. smile

I've always loved any cars, but I have memories of being mesmerised by a 3.0-litre E36 M3 in Dakar Yellow, so it is my suggestion!

I'm sure I was already into cars, but my first real car memory was my Dad getting home from work and immediately driving me into London so I could look at one of these which had just appeared in the showroom that day:

It's been my favourite Ferrari ever since

My Nan really got me into cars. When I was a kid we used to go and see her virtually every weekend and she would take me and my sis off to the shops. She would always allow me to choose 1 matchbox car - in the end I had boxes and boxes of them.

Ford Cortina
Dad had a mk3 and a mk4 but he used to let me go and play in the mk4 as I was a bit older then. I used to pretend I was driving it!

Uncle had one of these and used to take me out in it, he bought it for my Aunt (He had a 3.0 Ford Capri) but he used to love hooning about in the MG Turbo. I always remember him saying "It doesnt like sitting below 50mph"

And then for me 1.9 GTi - As in my own car which turned me deep petrol head as it was always breaking down, with no money to fix it I very quickly realised I should fix it myself and did, learnt a hell of a lot.

Having also seen some other people's pics, definitely the Lambo in Cannonball Run - and those 2 women! yeeeehaaaa! whistle

I had a battery operated toy of one of these when I was about 3 years old, in this exact colour, IIRC the lights worked and it went backwards and forwards.
