PD150 Hybrid Spec
Discussion
Im hopefully getting a Ibiza Tdi with Cupra Engine. Its been remapped, Hybrid turbo, cupra tdi engine, Milltek turbo back exhaut (de-cat), seat sport fmic, pd160 intake, green cotton filter panel, sachs dual mass performance clutch and a few other little things. Its runnging 225bhp and 350 torques!
Whats do people think the 0-60, top speed, mpg will be on a car like this?
Thanks

Ignoring lots of things, 0-60 in about 6.5, top speed of about 145-150. MPG depends totally on what the duty cycle is.Whats do people think the 0-60, top speed, mpg will be on a car like this?
Thanks

Given the engine in question I'm guessing we're talking about 350lb.ft rather than Nm, but people should definitely start to realise that when there are two very different units that are commonly quoted, saying "torques" like Clarkson et al is almost totally useless..
That said, I love you two guys coming up with the same numbers straight away

The Cupra's only map to about 190hp because the clutch is the limitation, you can pretty much get the Ibiza Fr 130's to this power with very little modification, I believe they share the same clutch.
I would be lead to believe, if the previous owner will have installed a Sachs clutch. These are actually cheaper than the Seat clutches and stronger. If he hasn't and its running 350lbs, the clutch would slip and judder even when its working fully as it cannot clamp that power. A friend of mine has his at around 300lbs and he gets clutch judder if he powers from low revs in a high gear, and as I say, his clutch is functioning as it should.
