Do you wave at other 911s?
Discussion
.. got to be careful waving a boxters/cogsters etc, folk might think you're a hair dresser, or have sub conscious leanings...
I've had a good run of wavings recently during / after overtaking manouevres, 1 finger, 2 fingers, 2 fingers and thumb in a circle, and 2 builders in a van last week, both using both hands gesturing and hurling profanities .. my best 1 ever ..

Quite a few Boxsters and Caymans down here, but I've only seen one other 911 while I've been driving my 964. Strangely, it was another 964, and it was on the day that collected it. Pulled alongside me on the dual carriageway, and we both did a double-take.
Of course, it's possible that I've see some 996/997s on the road, but mistaken them for Caymans or Boxsters.........

I can't wave. I'm usually trying not to crash.
Don't roll your eyes. This is actually a very poignant statement.
Driving a 911 close to the edge (Or what we think is the edge) is the core reason that this silly car exists. It makes you feel alive near (And over!) its limits.
'Trying not to crash' is just another way of saying it.
