It's going to be crowded too; over 125,000 tickets already sold for the Classic.

2002 30,000

2004 50,000

2006 70,000

2008 85,000

2010 100,000

2012 Your guess but I reckon nearer 140,000 with those who buy on the gate.

I have just realised that I will be in Paris from 2-9th July whilst the classic is on for work. Its likely I will have the weekend free potentially. What is the transportation like for the classic as I won't have a car. Does the tram run etc? Although I guess I could always hre a car.

The trams run of course, as they do every day of the year. Finding accomodation if you are staying might be a problem but camping will be easily bought through the ACO. How do the figures compare wili-amp? let's say about 50% this year for the Classic compared to the "real" 24 hours.
