Sat in the back of a Taxi at ~5:00pm Friday heading westbound on the Marylebone Road in London (nr Baker St). Looked to my left, there's a girl in a White 2011 Audi TT convertible (not sure why the age and make of car is relevant) reading a Kindle as she's driving along. I was totally gobsmacked. It wasn't like the road was gridlocked, it was actually flowing quite nicely.

Pointed this out to the Taxi driver, who wasn't all that surprised. 2 mins later we pulled alongside her again, she's no longer reading the Kindle, she's on her phone (not handsfree in any way whatsoever).

I really wish I'd managed to film it on my phone, but it would have taken me 10 mins to work out how to do it.

not really. In a convertible, a kindle is the obvious choice for reading in bright sunlight.

Using an ipad would be really foolish.

Don't worry. Soon she'll crash, claim whiplash and then her insurance will go down because she's a woman and a safer driver.

These threads are getting more frequent, thank god im not the only bitter hateful person around who shudders at how far things have gone downhill.

To be fair these women are too busy juggling the complexities of their lives to JUST drive.

When I ride my GSA, I can see into most things. iPads are becoming more frequent unfortunately. I think they start out as a sat nav, but the IUser becomes bored and starts to check into Facebook.

I've given up bothering about young women texting whilst driving. Unless they've got nice tits obviously.

now if you had an ipad strapped to the tank, it would keep you busy enough to avoid being distracted by nice tits smile

Honestly, why do people even think this kind of thing is acceptable? I had some stupid bh almost touching my bumper the other day, looked in my mirror and saw she had a phone to her ear and was chatting away.
