I took a few photos of the V6S this weekend and loaded them on the PC, then had a go at posting them to a web host via Fontango.

What I found was that Fontango is just a search engine and listed lots of photo hosting sites. So, I selected one and downloaded the software. After this the website started to scan my drive for photos the problem with this was that after 2 hours I still hadn't got anywhere, I guess it just take far too long with a 56k dial up. I didn't want to load all my photos anyway just some of my car. Is there a better host out there?

If you want to see one of the new photos just click on my profile.

Well I did try Fontango as many photos on PH have this on them but I found that Fontango is just a type of search engine and all it does is list other web hosting sites where photos can be stored.

Hence I downloaded the details and free software from one of them and it started searching my PC for all photos and this took ages, I gave up after 2 hours to be honest as I don't really want an enormous phone bill for the sake of a few photos.

There must be an alternative that is straightforward??

Kentish - love what you have done with your car mate. Looks fantastic and that third brake light even works. A masterpiece mate, you have an eye for what looks good. Hoping you do get a chim in a way so i can copy some of your ideas with that!

Cheers Phil that's a very nice compliment, just trying to make improvements really but nothing too mad and out of character with the car IMHO!

I'm still trying to find an alternative to the exhaust to give me some more ground clearance as I don't want to give up the car just because of a few speed ramps. Unfortunately, there are no alternative routes to our new house.

I'd love a Chim at some point but I think with the new house purchase it will have to wait a while. I am thinking that if I do acquire one in the future it may be as a daily car and the S will remain my plaything. As someone said recently on PH, the Chim is refined and can be used every day whereas the S was very well described as being "RAW".

For now, I must find a solution to the speed ramps, I nearly took the exhaust clean off this weekend ....again!
