Hi all,

I'm in a bit of a pickle. Currently at gatwick about to fly to Greece, the car broke down on the way, but I managed to limp it to a hotel near the airport. I got a taxi to the airport this morning and left the car at the hotel.

My plan was to have green flag come and fix it while I was away, and left the keys with the hotel. They however won't come out as they need the owner to be present.

Any ideas of a reputable garage near gatwick that would come out and fix the car whilst I'm away, obviously without pulling my pants down on the bank holiday weekend?

My flight is in an hour so any help would be great.....

Ps its a crap vectra diesel!

An unscrupulous person may get a friend or family member to go out to the car and pose as you.

That has worked with other organisations before.

Have a great holiday!

You said it yourself 'Crap Vectra Diesel' - is it even worth fixing?
Do you have any idea what is wrong?
