What are these like?

Insurance wise they seem very good, and the advert i have posted seems a bargain for a late 2007 model with 44k on the clock.

No sat nav unfortunately but what are they like in terms of performance, reliability, gadgets?

I have a 2005 A8 now so i assume that other than speed, the SAAB may feel like a step down..?

Cheers.

Drove one on a driving course a few years back. The mid range was outstanding - never driven a car like it for overtakes.

I suspect from an A8 the build quality and cabin will feel like a step down, but there's no getting away from the fact its a lot of car for the money.

Big tax, high consumption, relatively low quality, but this is Pistonheads so crack on, I'd say!

Definitely it will creak more and feel more plastic inside (I have the covertible), but what value, and looks great.

There used to be a seller on Amazon selling retrofit SatNav for these, which looked good and were very cheap, and others have done the same with branded satnav stereos.

The 2.0T every time smile

The 2.8T is the same engine from the Vectra VXR.

If the 2.0T feels a bit slow (I imagine it'll be T8 management on a 2008 car)then there's a lot of home mappers who can do a remap for very little.

Spot on with the mid range observation. My 2.3T 9000 can overtake no problem without dropping a gear smile

the 2.0T is quicker than my 3.0 A8. I am only thinking as i had the little collision on Friday that my premium is going to go up on the A8, so i have been quoting the SAAB with 1 claim and the insurance is cheaper than i pay now. £6-7k for a 2008 car of its size is stunning.
