Mid-Essex TVRCC Convoy XV...!

Hard to believe this will be the 15th Mid-Essex TVRCC convoy… amazing how time flies..! Anyway, Sunday 8th sees yet another convoy going to yet another meet…! Oh, and maybe this time we'll get a bit of sun…!


Meet at the White Hart

As usual we will be meeting at the White Hart from 11:00, before heading off to the meet at Great Totham at around 12:00... Unfortunately the landlord of the White Hart has said that it's not economically viable for him to open early for us but at least he's happy for us to use the car park..!

Directions to the White Hart

Got a TVR and never been on the convoy, or to the meet..?!?! Want to know how to get to the White Hart...?

1) Take the A12 towards Colchester (again, you pass under the A12 first)

2) Turn off at J19 (Boreham) – keep in the left-hand lane.

3) Take the 2nd exit (the first takes you to the Royal Mail sorting office!)

4) Follow the road, it turns to a 40mph

5) The White Hart is on your left a few hundred yards further on.

6) If you get to the roundabout, you have gone too far..!

I'm affraid that I won't be able to join the convoy this month Paul At the moment the Tasmin has no rear brakes and I don't know when they are going to be fixed...

Podie are you taking the convoy direct to the Purleigh fete,or are you going to the Forresters first. Remember Purleigh fete 8th August.She who must be obeyed wants cars on show.

Can I offer some advice on how to keep in the convoy?

Keep an eye on the person following you rather than consentrating on not loosing the one in front! If you loose the one following you, slow down or pull in for them to catch up. Make sure you let them back in front of you! That way, the guy in front will notice you're not there and do the same!

Not meant as a lecture just advice

Have you been picking brightly coloured wild mushrooms again.......yes, yes the person behind me is still there......yes, yes still there......oh feck, whats that big crashing sound and impact.....Oooops I've driven into the feckin car in front !!!!

Concentrate on whats in front of you not behind you !!!! Thats why we have locked up tyres on the roundabouts - if anyone drives into the back of me, I have a spade and bag of quicklime in the back of the car ready for you........

Yeah man I'm hearing ya....i gotta little something in my motor to deal with that too....it's a foot long, hard as hell with a Greek stamp on it.......No seriously, you can't be too careful especially round the area's I visit.......

So back on track, if I'm around Sun, is my stallion welcome or what????
