exhaust emmisions

Had emmisions test done on car yesterday and its running rich, noticed tailpipes had black soot on them and soot splashes on back of car,
it has only just started doing this, then noticed that exhaust is cracked around weld where pipe enters the silencer box,would this cause the car to run rich?

Not there it shouldnt as its after the sensors. Worth plugging it in to see if both the sensors work maybe

Where do you plug in, we plugged in diagnostic machine but it would not work

The software is on Noble parts... you need a dedicated cable but all the info is on there...

Found software on nobleparts, do you plug into the plug next to the proper diagnostics port, if so what lead do you need?
