924 future classic, worth saving

I have a 2.0 924, thats just failed its MOT on a range of faults, dont have time to do the jobs so would cost a few hundred to get MOTed. Tester thought not worth it relative to low value of car. But it seems a shame to scrap or break a rust free example. Surely they will go up in value at some point, (looking at 914 prices).
