Hi All,

It's not often that I moan on Pistonheads but I have just watched the following videos and I am somewhat confused.

Why do people do this, film it, then upload it? It's no wonder Police get pissed off.

There is three videos ...

All he has done is prove how professional and tolerant our police are in the face of idiotic behaviour. Bit of an own goal.

First of all, thanks to the subject of the OP from being more of a moron on camera than me.

Secondly, I believe they are a freeman on the land.

For all the folk here who wanna read about the hilarious loonys freemen on the land are, have a look at this: http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Freeman-on-the-land

Even better, take a look at the court cases they have videoed, you can get links from the rationalwiki page. They're fking hilarious.

David Icke endorses them smile

My thoughts:

- What a waste of time!

- Surely he can't just decide that this contract he agreed to while getting a driving license isn't for him?

- I'd love to see the face of/hear the no win no fee "people" when he calls and tells them the police stole his car and owe him £20k for stepping out of it smile

Why does the UK have such wonderful police (or at least 95% of them)?

Is it a historical accident or what? Genuinely the huge majority are great.

Lack of guns probably. Their authority is in their person, not their weapon.

Can't believe I actually spent an hour watching that, any more than the cops spent an hour dealing with it. What a tool.

Merc wasn't even UK reg'd. Video 3, about 13:30 in you see reg plate on car, something like SB 25 FM, so obviously driving around with no insurance for a while. I hope he lost the Merc.

Coppers were very patient, b ut at least they have a story for the grandkids..... One day we stopped this bloke and he said this and said that, but we still arrested him and seized his merclaugh

What fantastically patient police.

It makes me angry that the police feel they have to pussyfoot around a bloke like this. One chance to cooperate then they should have nicked him.

I can't help but think the matter could have been easily resolved with a baton to the side window and a face full of CS spray.

Good for those cops. I guess meeting a knob like that isn't in the training manual.

What was he hoping to achieve with that? I watched the first vid and scanned sections of 2 and 3, all I saw was some guy being a colossal arse while officers behaved with impeccable professionalism. I don't understand his motivation at all!

Indeed.

The bloke has a right to his unconventional views. He should have stated them, said that for the sake of peace he would cooperate but that he didn't recognise their authority etc. The cops would have been fine with that and told him to argue his case in court.

But no, he had to be a tool - looking for trouble. When he rang his friend he siad the police were being beligerant. FFS.

He said the second police car was blocking him in. Again FFS! it was hardly a TPAC. Where should the cars have parked?

I did like the line by the cop along the lines of "I'm payign 20 gand for this so....." Good humoured and only one swear word. "Give me the bloody key"

Top blokes.

I would be interested to find out what he actually got in the end.

Failure to provide ID, no MOT, no Tax, no driving licence, no insurance?

He probably had the car seized, and a day (or more) in court. Nothing quite like wasting people's time rolleyes
