I don't get it. It's all talking and rhyming to me, but so poor they change the end of words to make them rhyme. It is boring-io and leaves me cold-io.

It's apt though, isn't it? They're African American Gentlemen*, and they're in Paris.

*I know.

I'd always assumed Kanye West was a suburb. Shows what I know.

Anyway...

Try listening to it. You'll probably get it then.

Like the song, not sure id want to see it performed 11 times in a now though!

I understand the obsession with Jay Z, very talented his songs cross from hip hop to rock, and to be honest if you can play glasto and win rave reviews from both rock and hip hop heads, you must be doing something right.

What I dont understand is Kanye West- His songs arent that good, his rapping and be atrocious at times but still people like him.

Kanye West comes from a different upbringing to most rappists. Both his parents were college graduates (his mother a professor of English), and so he didn't come up from the 'hood rapping about drug dealing, but rather growing up in the middle class, which is a more universal experience for the world population. I think that goes some way to explaining it.

He's a very good producer though.

Presumably they performed a bunch of different remixes/versions rather than the same thing over and over?

Actually, they just did the same version of the song over and over.

I went to see the same show in Antwerp last weekend, where they 'only' played the song 6 times smile

It was, without a doubt, one of the best concerts I've ever attended, but I guess it's very much a marmite thing...

Someone tell the Mail there's a difference between "longest song ever" and playing a song 11 times.
