Sorry if this is the wrong section mods but as I trail the ebay "buy it nows" I often come across a bargain.....

Wow, that looks a great buy, saw these in Lidl the other day (maybe a different make) for 70 quid I think!

I like this thread, there are many complaints abouts eBay. But it's still fantastic (to me), why pay £11 in the shop for a micro USB cable when someone on ebay will flog you one for 99p delivered!

Great, but the sockets start at 32mm. Unless you're spannering trucks or heavy plant surely that's not too useful?

I've got one of those, used it all the time when I was a computer technician working on printers. It was extremely useful!

Are you now scouring Ebay for a JCB to go with it? biggrin

Seriously though, you could find a use for the sockets maybe on driveshaft to hub nuts and the other odd bits.
The sliding T bar will be very strong so you can 'gear it down' with a reducer to fit 1/2" sockets and it would take a piece of scaffold pole for undoing really tight or rusted stuff.

It is true Ebay can be a kent but as has been said they do offer some great bargains at times. I've went for the Led by the way smile

Mine turned up yesterday.

It's only a Facom set branded as stanley!!!

Same set on ebay with a nice box and a couple of extra sockets is £450.

Bargain and a half!!

I agree,

I recieved one today and its quite good quality!......so ive bought another tonight for my builder mate!

It was sent by fed-ex also!
