I am replacing my old factory rubber bushes with new polybushes. Will painting the inside of the wishbone before installing the new polybush make fitting difficult or impossible?

The bores of the wishbones need to be clean of any paint or paint residue. The end faces of the bores likewise. it is also a good idea to trial fit (if the bores are clean they are easy to remove again) the bushes to make sure that the thrust washers don't foul on any surplus bits of welding; if they do then trim the weld before painting - it'll save you the heartache of having to scrape off your new paint later.

There are lots of previous threads on this if you search around. David.

Thanks for your advice. I tried the pistonheads google search(propper pistonheads search not working) but not much came from it. It's always good to get conformation from people who have been there before. Cheers
