8 seater conversions.

I'm aware that some years ago , a conversion kit was / is available to make the Peugeot 806 / Citroen Synergie into an 8 seater , by converting the two rear seats into a 3 seat bench .
My boy's childminder is after a 7 seater with occasional 8 seater capability . Does anyone know of a conversion for a more recent people carrier .
The current crop of 8 seater cars all appear pretty odd ,and Google doesn't seem to be providing answers.

The 806 and the near identical Citroen Synergie were sold new with either 7 or 8 seats, there's a few on Autotrader with 8 seats for sale if you look.

Multimac is a great idea , but won't work on MPV's .

Weren't/Aren't the Chrysler Grand Voyagers 8 seaters? Depends what her budget is really as the new Hyndai i800 is a big 8 seater but it's about £20,000.

Wasn't the 806 rated the worse car for consecutive years in the JD power survey? Not a car I would consider.
