I might be up for it.
However, its my wedding anniversary so some serious grovelling might be in order.

Anyone going to the palmersport evening this friday night. Its sponsored by Nissan, who are bringing the 350 z of course and a 265 BHP Nissan Micra!!!!

you get to drive the cars for 3 laps.!!!

I am taking my Integra, as I took the GT3 last time.

Aha. Mr Zanzibar, topman . I understand at Silverstone you took jeremyc out for a run in the afternoon. A few off us have been trying to push him towards GT3 ownership for a while. This should hopefully have pushed him along a few notches.

15 September. Steve Rance, a chap from the GT3 Titanic register organised it. I think he also arranged a trip to Bedford on 10 August which I can't make.

Always a pleasure to enlighten those lost souls, I think JeremyC was quite impressed with the GT3, probably more with the handling & braking ability than the power especially coming from the Cerbera.

As for Bedford its a top venue for me right up there with Oulton Park, Donington, Brands GP, Silverstone and Goodwood. Loads of run off no armco so driving at 10/10ths is almost possiable which makes it a super fun day.

Zanzibar,

Yep, that was me at silverstone, your car certainly stood out that day !!

You were putting in some pretty hot laps there too.

To anyone who hasn't been to Bedford before, it's a great track especially for novices/ anyone getting used to their car for the 1st time, as there is plenty of run off at most of the corners, and most of the corners are quite tight, i think this is to keep the average speed down.

Hope to see you there

Yes Zanzibar & Yellow look the part on track and you were going well your self. Slow in fast out is essential on some of the corners around Silverstone to prevent the dreaded understeer, I found I gained time with that style, its important to come out of the corners leading onto the long straights fast.

I'll be there with my very ordinary C2, been there a couple of times. First time with PCGB. Great track, with little danger of hitting anything hard, except the corner before the long straight. A long track though, quit difficult to remmember all the bends/breaking points etc. (I nearly got lost once! )
Does anyone know if there'll be instructors around that day?
Had my pics taken by those professional photographers, great pictures but bl**dy expensive!

Mick,

I was there last month, and remember that bend being potentially nasty, but on my familiarisation lap discovered that they have taken the sting out of it now by putting in another bend just before it, so now it's a lot slower and safer.

Ditto on the photos, they look great but must be printed on gold leaf i think !!

I had my signing on instructions delivered today, and they state that there will be instruction available for £20 for 20 mins.

See you there

I might have to take the instruction especially when they keep changing the circuit. I wish they'll get rid of those concret blocks though, don't know why they're there in the first place?!?! Make me nervous everytime I go round that bend.
See you all there, hope I won't get in your way too much.

Peter,

Don't think there are any places left as I believe this one has been full for quite a while due to it being one of the few trackdays PCGB do on a Saturday.

It's worth going on the reserve list though, as a few people always drop out nearer the time.

Ref people dropping out, I noticed on the bottom of the letter it stated no refunds would be given on cancellations due to workloads at the office.
Probably best to advertise interest here or on PCGB forum.

Clubsport,

I was there in a MKII speed GT3 Clubsport. LK53 ODW.

Great day out, and yes a fantastic track for pushing hard.

Now spending the rest of the week removing bugs from front bumper !!!
