Have you done the 3,000 miles to settle the springs yet?

Perhaps you missed my original posts where I advised you of the need to let the springs settle?

Happy to give you the benefit of my experience with the GGP's but you do have to do your part & listed.

Honestly Daz, just give them time.

Who fitted them.

I fitted my own, made up some blocks to measure up the outrigger to floor distance. The final set up was done by Bubble and Kick motorsport.

There was no problem before i had them set up or after. Who did you purchase them from? What are your spring weights?

That can't be right. If you've got the same symptons as knackered shock absorbers what is it doing to your tyres?

Well perhaps not 3,000 miles to be fair, but mine took ages to settle and are fine now.

I know it's not ideal & I wasn't happy at first too, for the same reasons as you.

But I promise you they do get much better with time.

Have you still got the old springs on your Nickels?

If it's really doing your head in you could always put your old settled springs off your Nickels on the new dampers?

Or just be patient wink

I know there stiffer than the Gaz Nickles, did not want to get to involved because i was assured the supplied springs matched the valving ,did not want to have even stiffer springs and wait weeks for them to do the valving

Surely the springs and valving which come standard should be better than this ..They are a proven product.

Seriously youve got some other problems! the3se are good shocks. My tuscan handled like a crack addict previously and is now very stable. I did all the work my self.

Contact ACT and ask them what the spring rating is, failing that contact Dereck at gaz.

NItrons should be rebuilt every after x number of hours so you would be diggin deeper regulary.

There is obviosly something seriously wrong with your set up. Have you unwound the adjuster as far as it goes and started again?

Have you got the correct levels set up? basic checks from outrigger to floor and wheel arch to tyre?

I have two pins available. One is slightly bent. Is that a problem?

Is there anybody in your area with a chimera to compare? Your spring ratings or your adjustment are wildly out.

Your oscillating working out why shouldn't be that difficult unless there's something very wrong. Have you unwound and started again from a zero position.

Drive the car to Dereck at gaz explain problem! go and have a bacon sandwich come back and problem should be sorted even if you need a new set Dereck will change if Gaz at fault! No stress no spannering just some of your time and maybe a drink for Dereck!
Haircutmike and myself seem to be the only ones running Gaz gold mono's as opposed tp Pro's? but never had a problem with the Pro's and have had three sets now! hope you get it sorted smile
