We're taking my Polish Father in Law to Liverpool in July because he's a huge Beatles fan. Can anyone recommend a good Beatles tour? Also, any recommendations for things to see & do while we're there will be much appreciated.

theres the beatles museum at the Albert Dock.

I managed to get in for free, by accidentally wandering in from the back of starbucks basement - i though it was just a bit of memorabilia in the coffee shop, but it turned out I had actually found my way into the exhibition, its actually very good even if you pay

You can stay in the Hard days night hotel, visit the new Liverpool museum of life, book a duck tour, book a Liverpool Beatles tour, take him on a Anfield or Goodson tour,

Out of all that lot the museum of Liverpool life is superb and has many musical features.

I see the Magical Mystery tour bus out a lot at most of the Beatles stops outside of Liverpool (Elanor Rigbys grave, strawberry fields gates and John Lennons house are some examples)

When your in Liverpool city center, the best place to head to is Matthew St where you have

The replica Cavern Club - Only stop for one beer if you need to, its overpriced but the bands in there are pretty good.

Then head to the Grapes Hotel (just a pub down the road) and have a beer in the back. you can sit in the same place that the Beatles sat in a famous photo.

Then if you fancy a bit of a walk (about 10-15min) Google Ye Crake which was one of Johns fav (and mine!) pubs in Liverpool.
