Bonnet guide rubber
Discussion
Hello all,
My bonnet has started to chatter when making progress, and the reason behind it is that it is missing one of the rubber grommet type things in the locator plate (fixed to the bonnet).
I am talking about the guide rubber, that the plunger locates into.
I have searched the usual suspects (clever trevor/racing green etc...) but have not yet managed to find anywhere that sells them.
Other than getting one from a smashed car, can anyone think of anywhere that might sell them?
Thanks all

Go to a hard ware store and get an electrical grommet. You may have to cut a small section out if it but they work fine.
Not sure if these are the correct size but gives you an idea of what I mean.

I dont blame them - who wants to be fulfilling lowish volume small value orders? By the time you walk to the cabinet, print off the address, stick it all in an envelope and shove it in the mail bag etc then why charge the customer 10p. You also need to manage and order stock levels.
Do CPC not have these overheads then?Gassing Station | Cerbera | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
