Dashboard cameras?

Where's the best place to find dashboard cameras?
Ideally, forward and rear facing and maybe inside the car.
And ones that are able to record etc.

I've no experience but have been considering one myself and Roadhawk crop up time and again.

I've been looking at buying a forward camera but what put's me off is having the trailing wire everywhere

It's usually possible to push wires behind the headlining and run it down the inside of rubber trim in the door frames,
