Overlaid map of Le Mans
Discussion
In the past I've managed to get a little stuck as my sat nav doesnt seem to understand that half of LM is closed off over the weekend. As such, are there any web sites which have maps of which roads are part of the circuit / closed off etc... Also, if I want to drive to, say, Arnage, it would be helpful to have road names (or some such). Been searching the web to no avail.

This used to be my website. It hasn't changed for a couple of years. I think the map is still fairly up to date though!

If you are camping in Maison Blanche/Blue etc. then getting to Arnage is no problem - down to the roundabout and right. Getting to Mulsanne though is a tortuous, since that part of the road becomes the track. It is only from Tertre Rouge to the Porsche Curves that is closed, not the rest of Le Mans!
ETA Thye most useful map of all is the A3-sized Michelin road map which I have carried for years. Very detailed.

If you're going to be driving in and out of the circuit a lot it does pay to know which roads are closed, or even set up an itinerary route in your sat nat avoiding the closed sections.
That road heading east from near points 16 and 36 on the map is a very good way of getting in and out of the circuit if you're heading out to Ruadin and the surrounding area, for example, but it's open to general traffic during practice and qualifying then closed off to all but the top level pass holders during the race from memory.
