I have read a couple of threads around track day noise issue caused by both the exhaust and intake on the Duratecs...

I am anxious not to turn up to a track day such as Bedford Aerodrome with a 101db static and a 87.5dB(A) drive-by limit which is measured at a distance of 20m...and then get pulled off the track..

How does the Caterham racing silencer compare with the Raceco titanium silencer as far as performance and noise?

All thoughts / product suggestions are welcomed..

I have a raceco system on my duratec and was 98db static test last month at cadwell, induction will be a problem though on a duratec you will really struggle on a drive by, If you are interested I have a trackday quiet airbox for sale at the mo for a duratec kills induction noise, I would sell it £95 posted its brand new ready to fit, if of any interest drop me a message.

My CSR260 has the standard Caterham 7" repackable silencer and was tested at 96db static at cadwell.
I had wondered if I would need something a bit quieter for places like Bedford but I think if I have a freshly repacked silencer then it should be OK.
