Advice on lowering my 4x4
Discussion
Hi All,
I have just bought a 1998 4x4 that has been modded a bit and I want to make it more like the way it was made originally. It was raised 2 inches on Discovery V8 springs and although it looks cool I want the car lowered to normal ride height so I can get slightly better handling and I really wont be doing any serious off-roading anyway, so its way more than I need.
Could I get the springs cut to make them fit or do I really need to get some original type springs? I am not too clued up on such things so would appreciate some help/tips please?
Many thanks in advance

Thanks for that. I had a feeling original ones would be best but I remember seeing a car program on the telly recently and they cut the springs.
Thanks for the advice and I will get some original ones
I'm guessing Chop Shop are the only program that would actually advise cutting springs...Thanks for the advice and I will get some original ones
