Not the most hi tech fix ever

This Fiat parked next to me today, and I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

It had a hole in the windscreen (hit with a hammer maybe?)

But the fix consisted of Sellotape over the hole from the inside, I'm not sure I would drive with it in that condition.

If you are waiting on auto glass sourcing a windscreen for you it is the best solution until you can get the new one fitted. It would at least make the window water tight.

Duct tape on both the inside and outside would be a much more durable temp repair.
