Hi Guys

Great news wedge passed its MOT today. Just one issue RHF wheel bearing has play in it. Have tried to adjust before but without going to what I believe is too tight just cannot get rid of play. Wll change bearing, am I right in saying its off a MK 4/5 cortina. Frt sidelight was inop as well. Took it off and hey presto it was rusted away at the back. Had to make/bodge use my ingenuity and make another sidelight fitting from a vauxhall plug in sidelight that I managed to push through from the back of my original unit. Jubilee clipped it on to what was left of rusty bit, rewired and to my amazement it worked. Anyone know of where you can get these frt lights.

A very happy wedge owner

The wheel bearings are Granada II, not Cortina. The wedges have Cortina susp arms and ball joints, but Granada uprights and hubs.

I replaced one of mine after it started to rumble, with a Granada wh brg set, and it all fitted (series 1 280). I think the larger of the bearing races is the same (Granny to Cort), but the smaller one is different.

They are the ones as Wyn said plastic backs so no more rust issues.
