I see that Brenda visited Phil in the hozzy this afternoon and arrived in a spanking Mulsanne, with the blue lights behind grille etc.

I wonder, is this a Royal Mews car? Can't be on she's borrowed with all that kit fitted...

There was a Diamond Jubilee limited edition announced recently but there's no way she'd be in one of those...that would be far too blatant.

Any thoughts chaps?

Brenda? I'm not aware of anyone in the Royal Family called Brenda.

I'd of thought that it would be part of Royal Mews. I think the State Bentley only gets used for State occasions.

Queen always has Bentleys; the royal family gets a good deal out of VAG which is why the princes run round in Audis. Having the Queen in a Mulsanne is probably more advertising for them than the car's worth.

Prince Andrew arrived at the hopital in a Range Rover, and Prince Edward arrived in a XJ.

But that's the intriguing thing - Brenda never endorses anything and if there was ANY hint that VAG were going to benefit from her using product, she'd absolutely say no.

Also, on the basis that this was a private visit to see Phil the Greek, I reckon the Mulsanne is her privately-owned car.

We must dig deeper, team!

Kate Middleton has had an A3 for a while as there was a picture in a newspaper, of a traffic warden writing out a ticket for her car. I don't think the Queen has an Audi as she's been photograghed driving a XF.

Brenda is Private Eye's affectionate nickname for the Queen. Charles is known as Brian.

The Queen does have an Audi - it's the subject of this thread, silly. wink

Bit of a 'Fail' by the OP I'd say, especially during the Queen's Jubliee Celebration week.

Think you will find Edward was in a Disco 4, his missus and kid were in an XJ. (Or at least the clip on the news I saw he was, where he refused to say which channel Phil the Greek had been watching the jubilee coverage on!)

Isn't that just a wee bit dumb? Then again not as dumb as others following like lemmings repeating such rubbish.

But still not as dumb as someone getting upset about it and posting vitriol on a website.

What's up with you these days? Deal with issue direct, transference doesn't work.

It's a Bentley lease car. The Royal Family have a very good lease deal with Bentley and VAG as a whole, and VAG provide cars by Royal Appointment.

Is there an echo in here?
