I see locally there is a MK BEC that was road registered in Guernsey. Does this mean the car has to go through a full SVA in UK. I am hoping to go and see a couple of MKs over the weekend, one with Kawasaki the other with Blackbird engine.
I was hoping to get a look at a MNR but that option has sold, using these cars to drive 20 mins to my local track for regular track days, but I have little specific knowledge, am I on the right track?

Guernsey isn't an EU country (and not part of the UK as such), so I think it needs an IVA http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring/BuyingAndSell...
Yes, this car would require IVA to be used legally on the roads here. I'm sure this car in particular has come up in discussion on another forum.
Your on the right track, I use my BEC on the road lots, 20 mins to a track is ideal. Personally, (and this is purely my own opinion) I'd steer clear of the blackbird engine in a car. Even when dry sumped (as they should be) they have a tendency to go pop.
